BARRIE HOUGHTON
Barrie Studied at St Martins School of Art and then travelled extensively.
He became a Theatre Designer and then an Actor. His film roles included Judas and Goebbels and, ironically, Van Gogh.
He returned to full time painting about 30 years ago and his work has been exhibited in London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Liverpool and Dublin.
His shows in the East have included Cambridge, Ely, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Long Melford, Wivenhoe and Aldeburgh.
He has also shown at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Singer and Friedlander Watercolour Exhibition in London
